The Inspector

My name is Wayne Czybora and I perform all of the inspections for Bonafide Home Inspections. I am writing this letter because I feel that it is important for you to have a good idea of what I am all about. I have been performing home inspections since I started this company in 1994. I have previous experience in home construction and I am one of the few home inspectors that has previous experience (7 years) in pest control. I have retained my pest license and with the extensive experience I have in this field, I know exactly what to look for when it comes to insect damage. Insects can cause extensive damage houses which translates into costly repairs. Every home inspection I perform is carried out in an honest, thorough, and conscientious manner. I don’t know any other way.

Another important point I would like to make is that I am relatively young and physically fit. That tells you that I can get into the tighter places during a home inspection (and believe me I do) like attics and crawl spaces. What good is knowledge if an inspector cannot access some of the most crucial areas of a house (bet you never thought about that!). For example: inspectors are not required to enter attics if there is no flooring. I do not have a problem balancing on the floor joists to gain access to the entire attic, as long as I can do it safely (providing it is accessible in the first place). When searching for a home inspector, ask him if he enters attics with no flooring or if the access panel is on the ceiling in a closet.

And lastly, I’d like to talk about home inspection fees. Some people think that finding a low inspection fee is an achievement, when in fact it could be the biggest mistake they ever make. That kind of thinking will work out if you are shopping for the same item at the mall but you need to be aware that some home inspectors are simply better than others and you generally get what you pay for in this business so be very, very careful. Having a stellar reputation for 22 years like I do is not an easy task. It requires a lot of hard work, commitment and dedication day after day.┬áThe house you are buying is by far the biggest purchase you will ever make. Doesn’t it make sense to pay a little extra for a sound peace of mind?

My primary objective is to provide you with as much information as possible in order for you to make a sound, confident home-buying decision. I have extremely high expectations of myself and I have never failed to live up to them. If you allow me to perform your home inspection, you will see what I mean!
